Privacy
This covers the Ensidia mailing list and this website. The short version: I keep your email address, use it only to email you about Ensidia's games, starting with Obravain, and delete it when you ask.
Who I am
Kristian Gibson, a sole developer trading as Ensidia Software in Brisbane, Australia. I decide how your data is used, so I'm responsible for it. Email kristian@ensidia.dev about anything on this page.
What I collect
The email address you type in, and the date and page you signed up on, so I can show you agreed. Nothing else: no name, no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts on this site.
Why, and on what basis
To email you about Ensidia's games: the Obravain beta invitation, news about Obravain, and any games that come after it, about once a month. I do this because you asked to be on the list (your consent). You can take that back at any time, and doing so doesn't affect emails already sent.
Who else handles it
EmailOctopus (Three Hearts Digital Ltd, UK) stores the list and sends the emails for me. They keep the data on Amazon Web Services in Ireland, and deliver email through providers in the EU and the US. Cloudflare (US) hosts this site and passes your sign-up to EmailOctopus. Both handle it only on my instructions. I never sell your address or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Countries outside your own
Because of those services, your address may be handled in the UK, the EU and the US. They protect transfers with the safeguards the law requires, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, or the list closes. When you unsubscribe, EmailOctopus keeps your address marked as unsubscribed so you aren't emailed again. If you'd rather it were erased entirely, email me.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to or limit how I use it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, which takes effect right away and always within five working days. I'll answer other requests within a month.
Complaints
Please email me first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), or the data protection authority where you live in the EU.
Age
The mailing list is for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
If this page changes, the date below changes. If it changes in a way that matters to you, I'll email the list first.
